Many leaders are visionaries. They tend to think long term and about multiple things. Many of these ideas or concepts are complex and include many moving parts. They (the ideas) usually live in the heads of the visionary leader for long periods of time while they are thought out.
Thats the problem! They live where nobody else can access them. This creates frustration for the leader and their team. Why? Because the visionary thinks their ideas are real. They think their ideas have been discussed with the team. They think everyone else should know what they want. But they don't.
And here lies the problem. Ideas locked away in the head of the leader where they prevent progress.
